When to use this form
- When you make a new claim for Universal Credit you must say you want to claim Council Tax Support as well. We will treat your Universal Credit claim as a Council Tax Support claim - no need to claim separately. But if you don't hear from us within two weeks from your first Universal Credit payment, ring us on 0161 234 5003 or email us at benefit.enquiries@manchester.gov.uk to find out why.
- If your Universal Credit claim is refused for any reason, we need all your details. You must make a full claim for Council Tax Support.
- Only complete this form if we have already told you that you can make a short claim for Council Tax Support.
