Roads and transport Consultation phases and results

The story so far

This covers what's taken place so far on the project and the feedback we've had from the public about the project area and how safer streets might be created. Here is the engagement in numbers:

  • 121 people returned the postal survey a response rate of 5.6 % which is a good return rate for this type of survey
  • 152 people filled in the online ‘Tell us about your street’ survey
  • 109 comments were left by 40 individuals on the interactive map
  • 48 local people attended Workshop A and told us about their street and area
  • 37 local people attended Workshop B and used a toolkit to design solutions to create a plan for their area

See the different phases of the consultation process:

  1. Phase one - There was an initial survey and a Workshop A with residents
  2. Phase two - Included two surveys to residents one about there area and another specifically about their street
  3. Phase three - Included Workshop B where residents helped to recommend the design and layout of the project
