New Construction
Manchester Contracts undertakes commissions to deliver wide-ranging public realm development works at a variety of locations throughout the city, including paving and public lighting construction carried out by a highly skilled workforce and experienced site managers.
Within Manchester city centre, Manchester Contracts played a key role in carrying out highway and public open space redevelopments following the IRA bombing in 1996, particularly in the proximity of the Exchange Square area.
We believe that pre-planning and close working with stakeholders associated with development projects is a key element in their success and this was clearly demonstrated during the above period. We also consult with surrounding communities and businesses and involve those working on other property development works in progress to keep people informed and disruption to a minimum.
