A commercial district of the city centre where businesses invest in extra initiatives aimed at supporting economic success.
It is funded by businesses across the district including retail, hospitality, and office tenants, and collected by us by a levy based on rateable value.
The BID is partnered by Manchester City Council, Greater Manchester Police, Transport for Greater Manchester, and Marketing Manchester.
The focus is on:
- Attracting and welcoming visitors
- Improving the street environment
- Supporting the BID community
