People and communities Funding and grants for voluntary and community sector

Our Manchester Funds

Who we are

The Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector plays a huge role in improving lives and communities in the city. The Our Manchester Funds team is a small team within Manchester City Council and aims to lead by example in good grant-giving practice, making sure our work is right for all parts of Manchester’s VCFSE sector and stakeholders. We base our approach on listening and responding to the sector, to make the most of our investments in it.

Our Manchester VCS Grants (OMVCS)

This grants programme invests in the VCFSE sector to help achieve the aims of the Our Manchester strategy. The first round of OMVCS ran from 2018-2023 and you can read the impact report here.

Organisations funded through the second round of the programme will receive funding from April 2023 to March 2026, as reported at Communities and Equalities Scrutiny on 7th March 2023.
