Alexandra Park is a free to access public park of 24.3 hectares (0.24kmsq) owned and managed by Manchester City Council - bordered by Alexandra Road South, Claremont Street, Princess Road.
The licensed Carnival event area within Alexandra Park is defined by fenced perimeter line as per site plan.

Capacity for Manchester Caribbean Carnival - 19,999

Proposed hours and licensable activities:

Provision of regulated entertainment (live music, recorded music, performances of dance and anything of a similar description to live music, recorded music or performances of dance) - Outdoors only:
Sat 10 August 2024 and Sun 11 August 2024:  Noon to 8pm on both days

The supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises only:
Sat 10 August 2024 and Sun 11 August 2024:  Noon to 7.30pm on both days

Opening hours:
Sat 10 August 2024 and Sun 11 August 2024:  The park is open 24 hours

The application is in consultation until midnight on 10/07/2024.
