Charges and exemptions
Charges apply for the majority of burials and cremations, although costs for the cremation or burial of anyone under the age of 18 are met by the Children’s Funeral Fund.
Charges vary according to whether the plot owner and/or the deceased is/was a Manchester resident.
Bookings can be made privately but are usually handled by your Funeral Director.

Crematoria
We manage and operate the crematorium at Blackley.
Manchester Crematorium, adjacent to Southern Cemetery, is operated separately.
