Information for parents and carers
Wraparound childcare helps parents manage busy work schedules. With care available from 8 am to 6 pm, parents can work a full day knowing their children are safe in a familiar environment.
For children, wraparound childcare offers many benefits. Activities before or after school can improve a child’s thinking skills, engagement, and confidence. Physical activities also help increase fitness and exercise the brain outside of school.
Wraparound childcare often includes breakfast and afternoon snacks, which help with school performance. A nutritious breakfast helps children start the day right, and afternoon snacks keep them energized before dinner.
