Free school meals and free school travel
Did you know that if your child gets free school meals, the school gets extra money for your child’s education? That's £1,320 for each child in primary school and £935 for each child in secondary school. It's called Pupil Premium. Schools can use the money for school trips, extra teaching staff and activities.
Free school meals support is available for the summer holiday. Ask your child's school for details.
