Noise from bin collections and street cleaning
Bin collections
- Outside the City Centre bin collections take place from 6.30am to 8pm (on weekdays).
- City Centre bin collections can start at 5am.
Street cleaning
- City Centre cleaning (including graffiti cleaning) can take place 24 hours a day.
- Cleaning outside the City Centre can take place from 6am to 10pm.
- Small mechanical sweepers can begin cleaning at 4am.
Crews must not make unreasonable noise and must collect waste material in an efficient and tidy manner.
