Hulme Park – various repairs

As part of a wider project to improve participation, health, and wellbeing, the following repairs are being made at Hulme Park:

• Basketball court repairs
• Picnic table base repair and new picnic tables
• Repairs to the cobbles in Hulme Park

This work is part of the ongoing effort to improve our local parks.

Barrack Park

At Barrack Park, the small football pitch has been improved with new turf. New goalposts will be installed in the near future. Maintenance efforts will continue over the next 18 months to ensure the pitch stays in optimal condition.

We're also fitting gates, adding fencing and improving footpaths.

This project is part of our ongoing efforts to improve parks and play areas in the community.

Other projects

• We're replacing three bollards next to the leisure centre on Hulme High Street.
• We're implementing traffic calming measures along the whole stretch of City Road and Royce Road, including adding a crossing on Royce Road.
