Change of rules/name of secretary

  1. Summary

    The club secretary must inform us if there are any alterations to the rules or name of the club premises certificate.

    You can continue to operate as currently permitted while the change of detail is processed.

    Please clearly state the changes made to the rules including (if applicable) any rules replaced or removed. 
    If notice is not given within the 28 days following the day on which the change of name or alteration to the rules is made, the secretary of the club commits an offence.

  4. Attachments required

    A copy of current certificate or reason why you are unable to attach this.

  5. Processing and timescales

    The notification shall be processed and the certificate re-issued within 28 days of receipt.

  7. Validity and renewals

    The Certificate is valid while the premises is used for licensable activities and subject to annual fees; we will automatically raise/send an invoice for the annual fees.

  9. Complaints

    Contact us in the first instance by email to premises.licensing@manchester.gov.uk

    A failed applicant will receive notice of the refusal from us. If an application is rejected, the applicant may appeal the decision.

    A licence holder can appeal against a decision to put conditions on a certificate or to exclude any club activity. Appeals against the decision of the review can be made.

    A club may appeal against the withdrawing of a certificate.

    All appeals must be made to the local Magistrates court within 21 days of the decision appealed.
