• Re-install missing reflective bollards on existing build outs on Palmerston Street.
• Install tactile paving at uncontrolled crossings on the junction of Great Ancoats Street and Palmerston Street.
• Add warning signs on Great Ancoats Street, Ancoats Grove, Viaduct Street and Gurney Street approaching the turning into Palmerston Street indicating road humps for 650 yards, and on Palmerston Street itself.
• Add 20mph roundels along the length of Palmerston Street.
• Add a single speed cushion and a build outs and bollards with pairs of speed cushions near the junction with Viaduct Street.
• Add build outs and bollards with pairs of speed cushions near the junction with Gurney Street.
• Adding parking bays on the south side of Palmerston Street from its junctions with Viaduct Street to beyond its junction with Gurney Street. These will narrow the effective width of the carriageway.
• Add a SLOW marking on the bend on Palmerston Street, and on Councillor Street approaching its junction with Palmerston Street.
• Cut back vegetation which currently obscures the SCHOOL warning sign.
• ManCon (contractors) to commence work on the week beginning on 7 February
