A57 Hyde Road, from Whitwell Way to Oakfield Grove

At Parkdale Avenue:

• Make the northern end of Parkdale Avenue one way southbound, between its junction with Hyde Road and its junction with Agnew Road. 
• Build the footway out at the junction of Parkdale Avenue with Hyde Road to create an uncontrolled pedestrian crossing with tactile paving on Parkdale Avenue, making the crossing distance smaller, and slowing vehicles turning in from Hyde Road.
• Remove the existing 30mph terminal signs.
• Install illuminated one-way sign.
• Extend existing no waiting at any time restriction (double yellow lines) a further 12 metres along the western side of Parkdale Avenue.
• Create a loading bay at the top of Parkdale Avenue (at the side of number 1 Hyde Road), and install a loading bay sign, and a ‘Loading Only’ sign on a new post.
• Install an illuminated ‘LEFT ONLY’ sign on Parkdale Avenue opposite Taplin Drive, for cars turning out of Taplin Drive. 
• Install illuminated ‘NO ENTRY’ signs on new posts at the bottom end of Parkdale Avenue at its junction with Agnew Road. 
• Change the junction priorities on Agnew Road, including providing a ‘Give Way’ sign for northbound traffic coming from Parkdale Road onto Agnew Road.

At Oakfield Grove:

• Make Oakfield Grove one way southbound from the junction with Hyde Road to the junction with Haworth Road.
• Extend ‘No waiting or loading at any time’ double yellow line markings down Oakfield Road from the junction with Hyde Road to outside number 2 on the west side, and outside number 1 on the east side. 
• Build the footway out at the junction of Oakfield Grove with Hyde Road to create an uncontrolled pedestrian crossing including tactile paving on Parkdale Avenue, making the crossing distance smaller, and slowing vehicles turning in from Hyde Road.
• Remove the existing 30mph terminal signs.
• Install illuminated one-way sign at the top end of Oakfield Grove near its junction with Hyde Road.
• Create a loading bay at the top of Parkdale Avenue (at the side of number 652 Hyde Road) and install a loading bay sign.
• Install parking bays on both sides along the length of Oakfield Grove to reduce the effective road width and create a formal parking area for residents.
• Install illuminated ‘NO ENTRY’ signs on new posts at the bottom end of Oakfield Grove at its junction with Haworth Road.

Other:

• Existing road humps sign and post to be removed at the bottom end of Peacock Grove.
